Not that I would personally know anything about this but every person addicted to drugs swears their dealer is a good guy and generally cares about them when the truth is 99.9% of drug dealers are sociopaths who hold their customers in contempt and will do whatever it takes to increase their profit margins.
This is especially true when it comes to powder drugs like cocaine, heroin or fentanyl. Most drug users aren’t running intensive chemical audits to determine if their drugs are what their dealer said they were which leads to scenarios like last weekend where a hot batch rolls into Columbus and floors 10 people in 26 hours.

At least 10 people died from drug overdoses in Columbus, Ohio, over the weekend amid a rash of recent mass overdose deaths.
The deaths, which occurred over 26 hours, were an unusually high number for the county over such a short time frame, according to a statement Sunday from Franklin County Coroner Dr. Anahi Ortiz. Ortiz warned that drugs such as cocaine and methamphetamine can be mixed with fentanyl, which results in a lethal combination.

The deaths in Ohio mark a second weekend of mass overdose deaths in the country. Authorities in the New York City area said last week they were investigating five apparent overdose deaths that were possibly connected to the same batch of tainted cocaine.
Fentanyl is a monster. It’s easy to make, it’s easy to transport and the profit-margins are sky high. Normal-brained people will no doubt say well quit doing drugs you fucking idiots and you won’t have to worry about some scumbag spiking your drugs.
But that’s not how addiction works and as long as our system criminalizes people with substance abuse issues we will continue reading stories like this.
COLUMBUS CITY SCHOOLS CANCELS CLASS DUE TO HEAT ON OCT. 1
As much as I’ve enjoyed wearing swim trunks to the last three Browns games it’s now Oct. 1 and I’m starting to worry climate change is real and not a hoax by the Chinese government.

Columbus City Schools has canceled classes and all after-school athletics and activities for Tuesday, citing high temperatures and humidity forecast for the first day of October with a high expected in the low 90s.
The district waited until late Monday night to announce the decision in a news release.
“We do not take this decision lightly,” Superintendent/CEO Dr.Talisa Dixon said in the release. “The greatest challenge is not just the hot temperatures during the day, but how hot and humid it stays into the evening. Our schools simply cannot cool off at night. We must put the safety of our students and staff first.”
While students, teachers, secretaries and school-based staff will not have to report on Tuesday, the district is requiring administrators, custodial teams, bus drivers, bus aides and non-school based employees to report as scheduled.
My ex-girlfriend worked in a school without air conditioning and it seemed they cancelled half their classes due to excessive heat warnings which didn’t seem conducive to the education of their students.
Maybe one day the richest society in the history of the world can figure out how air condition all our schools considering we’ve had the technology since 1902.

I am an Ohio Democrat who donates directly to Democratic candidates because frankly I have yet to see proof the state party can organize a child’s birthday party let alone a statewide election.
The Ohio Democratic Party will hold a dinner on Oct. 13th (two days before the presidential debates in Westerville) and they could only secure a D-List of candidates and Tom Perez the national party chair who is about as entertaining as staring into the sun for 12 hours.
I’m starting to worry Ohio won’t be a priority for 2020 Democrats. Can’t say that I blame them considering we don’t need the Buckeye State to win.

TIPP CITY (WKEF/WRGT) – A 9-year old boy is accused of taking his grandmother’s car and going for a dangerous joyride up and down I-75.
The ride ended when police said the boy crashed into a van, right off the I-75 northbound exit in Tipp City. Nobody was seriously hurt.
Before the crash, the car was spotted driving recklessly through parts of Vandalia, Dayton and Tipp City. Witnesses said he was driving 80-90 miles an hour on the highway.

Police tried to pull the car over, but the boy refused. Officers did not chase because of concerns about the safety of other drivers. They did not know the driver was so young at the time.
The Ohio State Highway Patrol got involved, and tried to pull the car over.
"I saw him come up the ramp here and he actually stopped at the red light, he had his turn signal on and I mean he was adhering with some of the traffic laws that he's learned in his nine years," said Sgt. Jeff Kramer.
That he used his turn signal means he’s already in the 68th percentile of drivers in this state.
That police say he’ll face “multiple charges” makes me wonder why we have to live in a country where we’re criminally charging a nine-year-old as if that experience won’t alter his life forever in a negative way.
