Re your OCC post from the other day ... if we're paying people to get voter registrations, and they come back with Scrooge McDuck, that's a fraud against liberal donors, not the voting public. Scrooge McDuck does not have an Ohio driver's license and is not going to vote in the election.
Agreed on that part. But if you're accepting registrations from Scrooge McDuck, it doesn't project well for your books and how they'd stand up to scrutiny against a federal audit.
Also doesn't make sense why ODP would allow someone under federal investigation into their Executive Committee.
I testified at the hearing of the Safety Committee, and knew something was up with all the East Side pastors arriving to testify. Book idea for an aspiring historian: African American Pastors and Cleveland politics - From Stokes to Bibb. Ahhh, if only I was younger!!! It would be a fascinating story of all the angles, deals, and politics. A great big hole in Cleveland history that needs to be filled.
I can't be bothered to read about Cleveland politics when I have trouble enough keeping track of my own local shenanigans.
I understand the sentiment, but Cleveland is worth paying attention to. It's all interconnected in this state and we face a lot of the same problems.
