I totally agree with you on Watson and Haslem. Quitting the Browns while not as difficult as alcohol/drugs is hard! I love Nick Chubb and Myles, Cooper. They are real pros, especially Cooper! You knew midway through last year when Watson got hurt and Flacco came in and had no issues with the OL that it’s Watson all along. Maybe Watson can’t read a defensive scheme or run a nfl offense as someone one twitter posited.

I'm vibing right along with this. I love sports and the Browns, but for some reason, whenever I have gotten really depressed in my life, I find myself leaning way too hard into sports fandom. It takes over my life . . . because . . . maybe at those times . . . I have no real life???

The Watson deal was a glass of ice water to the face. So are the constant, unavoidable, cloying, nagging advertisements--all of it for shit. Gambling, beer, soda, pickup trucks, insurance, gambling again.

I have young sons of my own now. I often wish they could enjoy sports on TV in a more dignified way. I wish we all could.

It's going to be a long season for Ohio NFL viewers. Watching both teams go down by the third quarter was painful. I have to find a new pass time because I won't waste another minute on these teams.

Baker Mayfield, mentioned only briefly in the article, was run out of town because he supposedly wasn't good enough and didn't fit in with the Browns -- he had no criminal record and couldn't even muster credible allegations of wrongdoing.

But he has not retired and in fact is now the quarterback for Tampa Bay. On Sunday, he was 24 for 30 in passing, for 289 yards and four touchdowns, with no interceptions.

One Sunday is a small sample size, but it might be amusing as the season progresses to compare Mayfield and Watson.

Great organization have the stability to withstand change. Do some quick math: Add Browns front office, coaching and QB changes then subtract the Steelers same sum. A big number is bad:)
