It was all good just a week ago
This Emergency Rooster Dispatch comes courtesy of the brave and noble soldiers in The Patriots Caucus.
As The Rooster originally reported this afternoon, Cleveland law enforcement has issued multiple felony arrest warrants for restaurateur Bobby George.
The details are grizzly and feature numerous allegations of domestic abuse over the course of months, starting last November.
From Tyler Carey and Stephanie Haney of wkyc.com:
WKYC has obtained a copy of the arrest warrant detailing the accusations against George. The first purported incident occurred on Nov. 14, 2023, when the victim claimed George pinned her to the ground and strangled her while slamming her head against a table, causing her to have blurred vision, ringing in her ears, and bleeding from her ears. She stated to police she was treated by a nurse practitioner employed by George and later diagnosed with post-concussion syndrome.
The allegations continued from there, including one occurrence where the victim told police George pointed a gun at her and demanded she exit a car to come back inside a residence she was fleeing.
This past June, the woman said George tried to kill her by shoving a towel down her throat, and she maintains George asked "You think God is going to help you?" as she prayed for her life in a closet at "the residence they shared." In a separate instance, the victim told law enforcement George threw her on the ground and raped her after she got out of the shower.
George’s lawyer, meanwhile, is doing what he’s paid to do.
“This did not happen,” George attorney Kevin Spellacy said, according to multiple reports. “We deny any and all accusations. They charged him without even interviewing him or getting his version of events.”
With the caveat that George has yet to be convicted of any of these alleged crimes, and that, like all other Americans, he’s presumed innocent until proven guilty… let’s just say that, it’s not looking good for him from my vantage point in the gutters of Columbus.
Who is Bobby George?
Bobby George is the son of Cleveland restaurateur Tony George (more on him in a bit). The younger George manages the Townhall franchises in Cleveland and Columbus, as well as other assorted venues aimed at blacked-out recent college graduates with gambling addictions.
Most recently, George earned national headlines when his establishments laughably announced a boycott of the 2024 Paris Olympic Games.
Bobby, like many other right-wing freaks operating in bad faith, misinterpreted an Opening Ceremony scene featuring the Greek God of Wine, Dionysus, as a mockery of Jesus’ Last Supper.
“The portrayal of ‘The Last Supper’ was handled with an irresponsible level of irreverence, insulting the Christian faith,” the statement from TownHall, Rebol, Green Goat and Mandrake read in part.
“We unapologetically uphold a standard where all religions, races, sexual orientations, national origins, disabilities, ages, and gender identities are respected. We will not tolerate any form of discrimination or desecration.”
It was searing insight into the mind of George. The perfect mixture of self-righteous while also being wrong about everything he was upset about.
“We will not tolerate any form of discrimination or desecration” were rich, rich words even before learning that they came with George under investigation for multiple incidents of domestic violence, including attempted murder.
That’s because George has operated wildly discriminating workplaces, and you don’t have to go far on the internet to find first-hand horror stories of how he runs his operations.
Here’s just one example, from two years ago:
To get hired you’ll probably have to be a skinny blonde girl. They rarely hire people who don’t fit this look, and if they do they are held to a much higher standard. Back when the only location was in Cleveland rumor has it they would weigh girls before they were hired and would send pictures of girls in the uniform (an xs v neck bodysuit) to the owner to make sure they “fit the look.” They only order xs and small uniforms. I’ve even heard a story about the owner seeing a hostess he thought was “ugly” so he sent a message to the work group chat (with 150+ people in it) that she needed to be fired immediately.
There’s tons of encouraged drinking, even when girls are underage, and almost everyone drives home drunk. If you don’t drink while you work and don’t flirt with the managers and regulars you won’t get serving shifts or good sections. you’ll be demoted to a host/food runner/barista where you will make a fraction of the money. don’t want to do that? you’ll be fired.
There’s also so much racism, from the owner, security team, and managers. I have personally heard the head of the security team say his favorite part of his job is kicking out black people. He even told a black server that even though he’s racist and “usually hates black people” that he still likes her. If you want to hear more about this go check the google reviews of countess people of color who have been kicked out or denied entry. (I also have screenshots of Bobby George saying that “we even allow blacks and gays” at his Thanksgiving party)
There was the time in 2020 that a TownHall manager went on a racist tirade on Facebook when customers questioned why the establishment appeared to be mocking COVID safety regulations. TownHall then attempted to sue Cleveland Scene for reporting on the scandal.
There was the time that TownHall pressed charges against a protestor for using a bullhorn outside their Cleveland establishment, which prosecutors eventually dropped.
There was the targeted enforcement of dress codes by TownHall security guards to keep minorities out of the establishment.
There were also allegations of wage theft.
And that’s just stuff that came off the top off my head while compiling a quick list for an emergency dispatch. As I said, you don’t have to travel far to hear the horror stories and make you realize his operation isn’t worth financially supporting.
But George’s father, Tony, is also involved in the family business and he’s another can of worms.
Who’s Tony George?
I tweeted a few weeks back that I had heard Tony and Bobby weren’t on speaking terms after a Patriots Caucus member had tipped me off to rumblings about the duo being under investigation.
I called Tony and asked if he or Bobby were under investigation, and he immediately hung up on me. That’s his right as an American citizen, especially given that I’ve gotten him talking on the phone in two past instances under my conservative alias, “Don Liberty.”
But Tony also has legal worries of his own, and not just because local law enforcement will be swarming his businesses thanks to his son’s (alleged) boneheaded actions.
Tony, according to federal prosecutors, was the go-between for then-Speaker of the Ohio House Larry Householder and FirstEnergy executives when the group of co-conspirators passed the largest bribery scheme in state history (that we know about).
Tony was also instrumental in getting former State Senator Sandra Williams, a Cleveland Democrat, to introduce crucial decoupling language into the HB-6 legislation at the behest of First Energy executives. Williams, for her part, seems to have been afflicted with amnesia as to why she sponsored an amendment she now claims she knew nothing about.
Since passing that fateful legislation, Householder is in prison for the next 20 years and the Ohio Attorney General’s office has indicted former First Energy CEO Chuck Jones and its former Vice President of Bribes, Michael Dowling.
Though Tony has yet to be charged with a crime, it’s not out of the realm of possibility considering he appears throughout investigation documents as “Individual #2.”
Not that any of that has stopped Tony from writing checks to politicians. He’s currently underwriting the Congressional campaign of independent candidate Dennis Kucinich, and he also recently hosted a fundraiser for Lieutenant Governor Jon Husted, who has a broken microwave where his brain is supposed to be, and a myriad of connections to the HB-6 scandal as well.
This part is speculation!
The Georges, in my opinion, have operated with impunity in recent years. Tony is especially fond of saying he donates to candidates who will bring about “good government,” and by that he means he donates to candidates that will be good for Tony George, personally.
Bobby, in my opinion, has carried himself as individual who sees himself as above the law thanks to his father’s connections. One domestic violence allegation is horrible enough. But multiple alleged incidents over the course of months? Pulling a gun on a woman when you could simply break up with her and walk away? That just reeks of a guy who has gotten away with a lot of grimy stuff to make him think this would be another walk in the park.
Through that lens, it’s not hard to see why so many people on social media are celebrating the apparent downfall of the George Crime Family. They have carried themselves with arrogance over the years, and as of right now, it appears that the hubris could cost their family a hefty sum of money if not their freedom altogether.
Oh well. That’s not my problem.
Spot on as usual! Don’t EVER come out of that Columbus gutter for risk of being tainted:)
I am going out on a limb here, I doubt that this is the first woman he has terrorized. Shady doesn’t go far enough to describe these men.
