Wow. You’re right, the nuclear option is clearly on the table. I will never understand why the university didn’t do the right thing when this criminal behavior was first reported. As always, the longer it’s dragged out, the worse it becomes. If their goal was to protect the football program, they should have faced the music years ago. Too much money in their faces, I guess.

100%. And, in my opinion, everything can be traced to Chairman John Zeiger, who fought even the independent investigation into the Strauss affair as an influential trustee also serving as Leslie Wexner's longtime lawyer.

Wexner has since been deposed in the case.

While I generally believe the cover-up is worse than the crime, in this case, the cover-up makes the crime even worse because it was protecting "alleged" pedophilia.
