Reminder that Phil Burress spearheaded the anti-same sex marriage amendment that sadly made it into the Ohio constitution in 2004.

I wish that we could amend it out of the constitution as a "fuck you" to him and his Holy Roller ilk, plus I'm worried that it could function as a trigger law if Obergefell gets overturned.

Yup. Was also instrumental in the halo law for strippers that never got enforced until Stormy Daniels came to Columbus while feuding with Donald Trump.

Ah yes…Cincinnati’s Citizens for Community Values. That town has burped up so much of the right wing nonsense that now poisons the whole state. Remember when the CCV and the sheriff of Cincinnati shut down a museum and arrested its director over some naughty photographs?

That holy roller stuff is beginning to wear on voters if what is happening during Ottawa Co, MI primary with their election of county commissioners is any preview. The Washington Post did an interesting article yesterday.
