Rooster in Review: April 9th, 2022
From Mike DeWine looking guilty as hell to the fabulously corrupt co-sponsor of "Don't Say Gay," The Rooster had you covered this week.
Welcome to this week’s Rooster in Review, a new feature from The Rooster to recap the week that was as our state continues its slow, unrelenting creep into the gaping maw of Christian fascism.
Perhaps as a free subscriber, you’ve been on the brink of joining Chairman Xi’s fabled Patriots Caucus. Well, today is as good as any as The Rooster is running a spring sale in which you can take 33% off the sticker price until the end of time:
Remember, today is Friday, so keep your head in a swivel and try not to end up like Dave Grohl that one time 50 years ago when he came to Columbus for some reason:

Here is the week that was in The Rooster:
Monday: No Justice Like Sports Ball Justice. Duke’s Coach K suffering more consequences for his mistakes than the architects of the Iraq war is what makes sports worth watching.
Tuesday: Mike DeWine is Guilty as Hell. The evidence that our governor was balls deep in the largest bribery scheme in state history (that we know about) is starting to accumulate.
Wednesday: Who’s This Legislative Dipshit? Meet Rep. “Mean Jean” Schmidt. Armenian genocide denial, non-existent degrees, illegal gifts and fake endorsements: This is the co-sponsor of Ohio’s new “Don’t Say Gay/Anti-CRT” bill.
Thursday: When Legacy Media Knocks (free). When independent journalists break stories, legacy media members feel entitled to their work. The Rooster is no exception.
Friday: Franklinton Forever. The Freak Leader bids adieu to The Bottoms as the legendary outpost at 884 Bellows heads to market.
Don’t forget, you can follow The Rooster on Twitter for up-to-the-minute commentary on the state that is driving us all insane.
Godspeed, everybody, and stay frosty.
THOSE WMDs. Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia: One of the most polluted cities in the world… Why people are boycotting Amy’s Kitchen… The race to build the coral reefs… The problem with disfigured villains in pop culture… The adults who found out they were autistic after their kids were diagnosed.
