Rooster in Review: Down goes Matt Borges
It's been a bad week for Ohio Men in the federal criminal justice system.
A day after his co-conspirator Larry Householder took a 20-year federal sentence on the chin, Judge Timothy S. Black sentenced former Ohio House Republican Chairman Matt Borges to five years in the federal penitentiary.
Good riddance to that man!
And a word to the wise: If you’re ever charged by the federal government for participating in a RICO scheme, start stitching! I know it’s a noble thought to think of you defending yourself from an unjust decision. But that kind of stuff only happens in movies. Don’t risk it! That’s why Householder and Borges are already off to prison while their co-conspirators, Jeff Longstreth and Juan Cespedes, are still awaiting their own punishment.
In honor of two bad men going up the river for a long time, The Rooster is holding a 50 percent off sale. Redeem your price today and punch your ticket into the prestigious Patriots Caucus. Our work at 1 Capitol Square is only just beginning.
But that’s not all! All shirts at The RooStore have been reduced to $19.99 (plus shipping).
Act now while the iron is hot and showcase your desire to bark with the freaks.
This week in The Rooster…
The one thing Matt Borges won’t do for his family. Matt Borges confuses the forest for the trees in refusing to recognize the identity of his transgender son.
Lordstown loses (again). Tim Ryan once called a deal between Lordstown Motors and Foxconn as “the stuff dreams are made of.” He was always a loser oblivious to an obvious okey doke.
Reqiuem for our sweet, sweet boy. A federal judge strokes Larry Householder for 20 years while it’s hard to feel like justice was rendered in the HB-6 scandal.
As always, be sure to follow The Rooster on Twitter and TikTok.
