The chairwoman sends her regards
Ohio Democratic Party chairwoman Kathleen Clyde has shown the door to two well-respected executives this week for ostensible "budget" reasons.
Ohio Democratic Party chairwoman Kathleen Clyde fired two popular employees this week for “budgetary reasons,” according to multiple sources.
National Partnerships Director Emily Feltz and Deputy Executive Director Miranda Lange were shockingly fired this week.
The two employees had served a combined seven years with the party, and now have 60 days to get their affairs in order.
Surviving staff learned about the shocking firings from office word-of-mouth, with no official communication from Chairwoman Clyde.
Another source complained that while Feltz and Lange were fired for ostensible “budgetary” reasons, two staffers connected to Clyde and the power behind her new throne, former Senator Sherrod Brown, remained in the fold.

Justin and Lauren Barasky earn roughly $20,000 a month from the Ohio Democratic Party, according to one source.
Lauren is the former manager of Clyde’s Secretrary of State campaign in 2018. She also worked on past Brown campaigns, where she met Justin.
According to a source, she earns $14,5000 a month for general consulting.
