I had today’s dispatch laid out in my mind while biking through Clintonville yesterday. It no doubt would have led to many people on the streets proclaiming, “Great post, DJ!”

But then, on a secondary bike ride to Kroger, I learned via text message about the assassination of conservative commentator Charlie Kirk.
