The wages of sin
Jeff Epstein's $130K gift for Les Wexner, the State Legislature's fraudulent hunt for Medicaid fraud, hard times for the Townhall Crime Family, and more!
Bloomberg obtained a treasure trove of hundreds of emails between Jeffrey Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell.
There’s an obligatory Les Wexner mention, where Epstein bought $130,000 in all-terrain vehicles that he earmarked as a gift for the Central Ohio annorexia magnate.
And if it were only this one thing, who among us would want to throw stones since receiving a six-figure gift from your undercover pedophile friend is a relatable experience for most Ohioans?
But it’s not just that one thing.
The news comes in the same week we got our first look at Wexner’s “bawdy” personalized birthday card to Epstein for a 50th birthday collection featuring all his friends making thinly veiled comments about their shared love of pedophilia.
That’s on top of everything we already knew about Wexner and Epstein.
And that’s without mentioning that Wexner also tapped Mike Jeffries to head Abercrombie & Fitch before federal authorities arrested Jeffries on sex trafficking charges late last year, too.
Wexner, meanwhile, recently made $2 billion in three months by investing in Artificial Intelligence, which is totally a real thing and not the next great capitalist bubble.
Wexner forgot to mention that part in May when he boasted about Columbus becoming an “AI hub.”
And surely Wexner’s investment in AI has nothing to do with his beloved Ohio State University, with its Board of Trustees chaired by Wexner’s personal lawyer, John Zeiger, becoming the first university in the country to mandate “AI fluency” for all four-year graduates.
In this madness, we can thank God for State Rep. Karen Brownlee (D-Cincinnati), who has introduced a resolution calling for the transparent release of the Epstein files.
Every House Democrat has signed the proposal, yet not a single Republican has joined.
Why would Republicans do such a thing, do you think?
Rep. Josh Williams (R-Sylvania) told me in July that he supported the full release of the files because one thing he doesn’t tolerate is “messing with kids.”
But Ohio House Republicans have gone silent on that opportunity, just like Congressman Max Miller (R-Bay Village), who, in the past two months, apparently no longer believes in transparency or delivering truth to the American people:

I realize that we live in a post-truth era where nothing matters. And I’m not saying the past was perfect, either. But I’m feeling nostalgic for an era when flip-flopping on protecting a cabal of powerful pedophiles would have ended a political career.
Alas.
Weird response from Statehouse Republicans, given that Ohio is losing “billions” in Medicaid fraud

I have been meaning to get House Finance Vice Chairman Mike Dovilla (R-Berea) on camera about his numerous claims that Ohio is losing “billions” of dollars a year in Medicaid fraud.
