A downside to paying attention to Columbus for more than 30 seconds is knowing that a shadow army of corporate hobgoblins arises each morning to collect fact checks and make life harder for people at the bottom of the socio-economic hierarchy.

The dark army notched another victory yesterday when the local jail announced it canceled in-person visits.
