That time Vivek Ramaswamy embarrassed himself in front of Jason Aldean
Southwest Ohio hasn't been so kind to the notorious conman in recent years, including Wednesday night when a gang of aggravated right-wing 20-somethings heckled Ramaswamy off stage.
The notorious conman Vivek Ramaswamy visited the Butler County Fair on Wednesday.
Butler County is renowned for its ability to elect political crackpots like sentient human rights violation Sheriff Richard Jones, who was pictured in a Ramaswamy campaign photo, if you can believe that.

Eventually, however, organizers bagged their guy: Former presidential candidate Vivek Ramaswamy, who brought his security entourage to the event.
That’s where things got interesting.
Ramaswamy wanted to introduce Aldean to the crowd, but organizers said that wouldn’t be possible. That role had already been promised to Sheriff Richard Jones, who you might have seen over the years railing about The Border on Fox News while wearing a cowboy hat for some reason.
The attendees at the event know and love Jones. That can not be said about Ramaswamy, who apparently became increasingly agitated as organizers remained steadfast that he wouldn’t introduce Aldean.
“West Chester Police told him if he didn’t calm down he would be asked to leave,” said a source. “He [left] anyway without even going in the tent to greet people.”
To get into that tent—again, billed as part of the “special guest” package, cost a minimum of $1,000. Many attendees paid $5,000.
One heavy roller dropped $10,000 according to a source.
What truly makes that story a special chapter in Ohio political chapters is that organizers settled on Ramaswamy after a chain reaction started by Senator George Lang telling a Trump campaign crowd that Civil War might be needed if the upcoming election went the wrong way.
Ramaswamy, to his credit, turned that embarrassing low point into a gubernatorial campaign that every non-term-limited statewide Republican kissed his ring without any resistance worth marking in the historical record.
Ramaswamy’s strategy has, thus far, been to pound the airwaves with Epstein Class money while jet-setting around the state to deliver canned remarks to favorable invite-only crowds.
His biggest blunders have been in organic moments where he can’t resist revealing himself as a tone-deaf megalomaniac who’s indifferent to the concerns of people who have to work for a living.
Like, for example, in his so-called home of Cincinnati on Wednesday evening, when he was unable to finish a planned 30-minute speech due to rowdy attendees at the oligarch-funded Young Americans for Liberty Conference:
