Rooster in Review: Put a dome around New Albany
It's not looking good for the real estate developer class in New Albany, if you can believe that.
Folks, I’m starting to think the New Albany real estate developer class might have a pervert problem on their hands. And when I’m governor, we’re going to activate the National Guard to ascertain what, exactly, is happening out there.
We all know the story of the oligarch thong magnate Leslie Wexner and the New Albany Company. But it would appear that Wexner’s exploits have created a permission structure for lesser-known, lesser-diabolical real estate developers in a community built around slave plantation vibes.

Courtney Ingersoll, a former executive at Thrive Companies, filed a lawsuit in April alleging widespread sexual harassment, drug use, and “hedonistic culture” at the company.
You can read that full lawsuit here:
Ingersoll’s lawsuit comes with receipts about the debaucherous behavior, too. (Trigger warning: Graphic language about sexual harassment and assault quoted below.)
Courtney was a Partner and Senior Vice President of Brand Experience at Thrive.
During her tenure at Thrive, Courtney was subjected to continuous sexual advances and pressure by her direct supervisor, Defendant Kevin Zeppernick, a Principal, Board Member and former Chief Executive Officer of Thrive, who possessed and exercised the power to influence and determine Courtney’s work conditions and terms. Defendant Zeppernick has, in writing, texted Courtney that he wants to “bend [her] over,” that he promises to “make [her] cum harder than anyone ever has,” wanted to engage in a “threesome” with her and her friends, and that in an infinity pool he “would love to bend [her] over this edge and fuck [her] deep.”
Exhibit A consists of true and accurate copies of text messages from Defendant Zeppernick to Courtney.
Defendant Zeppernick’s actions were consistent with his words. As detailed in the allegations below, by exercising his institutional power and after gaining Courtney’s trust, Defendant Zeppernick kissed Courtney on multiple occasions, repeatedly solicited her for sex, performed oral sex on Courtney, and sexually abused Courtney while she was passed out and unable to consent.
What’s wild—though not germane to the truth of her allegations—is that Ingersoll is being represented by John Zeiger and Marion Little, the longtime fixers for Wexner, ECOT, and a host of other nefarious influences.
What’s even crazier is that, earlier this month, Ingersoll was left in a coma when struck by a motorist driving a blacked-out Chrysler through downtown Columbus.
From Libby Cathey of 10tv.com:
Courtney Ingersoll, 36, suffered critical injuries June 9 near the intersection of South High and West Mound streets. According to a Columbus police crash report, Ingersoll was traveling northbound on South High Street with a green light when a westbound driver of white 2016 Chrysler 300 on West Mound Street ran a red light and hit her before speeding away.
She was transported to Grant Medical Center, where she remains in intensive care. The driver has not been identified. Police said bystanders performed CPR at the scene before she was transported to the hospital.
Craig Kent, founder of the German Village Running Club, said Ingersoll had just left one of the club’s monthly group runs before the collision.
You can donate to Ingersoll’s GoFundMe here.
Not to be outdone, Thrive Companies launched a countersuit against a woman in a coma earlier this week. And sure, you only have 60 days to launch a countersuit when sued… but in my opinion, it’s notable that the suit got filed after Ingersoll had been clipped under suspect circumstances at best.
Like I said: We’re going to need the National Guard—and perhaps a biological dome—to get to the bottom of what’s happening in New Albany. And when I’m governor, that’s happening within the first 100 days of my administration.

This week in Ohio Man…
If you follow national news, you might be aware of Tycen Proper, a 19-year-old(!?) Knox County man who was one of five suspects arrested in a nascent domestic terrorist plot to attack the UFC event on the White House lawn earlier this month.
It doesn’t seem like the plot was much more than angry young men fantasizing over unencrypted chat channels, but Proper at least had the weaponry to conduct such an attack if that were something he had ultimately been interested in doing.
From Adam Sabes of Fox News:
On June 5, according to the report, Proper purchased a 12-gauge semi-automatic shotgun that had an American flag painted over it, as well as ammunition to go with it.
Proper also purchased an AR-15 5.56 caliber rifle on Jan. 13, officials said.
Officials alleged Proper had stockpiled the two firearms — an American flag-painted 12-gauge semi-automatic shotgun with a red dot optic and an AR-15 rifle with a red dot sight and magnifier — along with three plate carriers loaded with .308-rated ballistic plates, a tactical bump helmet, a battle belt with loaded ammunition pouches, 13 loaded AR-15 magazines, more than 1,000 rounds of 5.56 ammunition, dozens of 12-gauge shells including buckshot and rifled slugs, multiple fixed and folding blades, a hatchet, two tactical headsets, chemical lights, compass and extensive medical trauma gear including tourniquets, emergency bandages, wound seals and gauze — all stored at a family member's home.
The gallows humor featuring the seemingly never-ending slew of Trump-aligned, pedophile-coded Americans wanting to execute Trump for being a pedophile is not lost on me.
But as much as Republicans love to pretend “Originalism” is about a strict interpretation of the enslaver class’ intent with the Constitution, I’ll never be convinced that a “well-regulated militia” meant that a 19-year-old freak should be allowed to assemble a $3,000 cache of military-grade weapons.
Just my take!
This week in The Rooster
It was another brisk week of business at Rooster Worldwide LLC, with a special Sunday morning dispatch featuring breaking news about the downfall of yet another odious New Albany gremlin.
The Columbus Partnership terminates CEO Jason Hall. A weeks-long investigation into a toxic work environment and an obsequiousness to Leslie Wexner led to the CEO’s ouster.
Oh hell yes: J.D. Vance’s downfall is here. Vice President Boss Baby is set to take the ride on the inevitable collapse of peace negotiations with Iran. Plus, the full story on Jason Hall’s ouster, as well as the jet-setting travels of notorious conman Vivek Ramaswamy.
False flags and fear mongering: The Strategy Group’s manufactured monopoly. Columbus-based freelancer Elephant in the Room returns to spill the beans on the Strategy Group’s polling racket used to further enrich themselves through the fear of losing.
Former assistant U.S. energy secretary owns ‘Crack Palace’ at center of Belmton County cocaine raid. Bob Gentile, a former Reagan and H.W. Bush appointee, is the owner of the alleged cocaine laboratory at the center of a Belmont County drug raid.
The ‘Crack Palace’ raid is America’s two-tiered justice system. Why was a reputed billionaire living with a spiraling drug addict who is 45 years his junior? Belmont County sources say Gentile’s relationship with alleged dealer Lewis Dunn stretches decades, back to when Dunn was in high school.
We’ll do it at the same time and place next week.
Until then… stay frosty, my friends!
THOSE WMDs. Why the West stopped making land… Antarctica’s doomsday glacier is collapsing… After building the atomic bomb, the government dumped deadly toxic waste in a quiet suburb… Insurers are denying the special care that people with eating disorders need… This doctor can change the color of your eyes—should he?
