Rooster in Review: Until the end
A source revealed Friday morning that Central Ohio thong salesman Les Wexner is fighting a subpoena in the lawsuit against THE Ohio State University over the Dr. Richard Strauss scandal.
Central Ohio billionaire Leslie Wexner is currently fighting a subpoena in the Ohio State University Dr. Richard Strauss sexual abuse scandal.
A source, granted anonymity to speak freely about sensitive topics involving vindictive figures like Wexner, confirmed the news to The Rooster on Friday morning.
Wexner’s personal lawyer, John W. Zeiger, also serves as the chairman of the Ohio State Board of Trustees.
Buckeye legend Archie Griffin, who served as an assistant athletic director overseeing the wrestling program under former coach Russ Hellickson, is also set to be deposed.
The news comes as the public awaits the release of the taped deposition of Hellickson and United States Congressman Jim Jordan, who served as an assistant coach under Hellickson.
Both men faced accusations in Surviving Ohio State that they knew about Dr. Richard Strauss and failed to act in any meaningful manner.

This week in Ohio Man…
I’m not going to sit here and pretend that I was a Rhodes Scholar in my youth, or that I didn’t do some extremely dumb shit that I’d rather forget.
I also concede that I’d be furious if a gang of rowdy teenagers pushed over a porta-potty with me inside.
However, I don’t think that’s a viable excuse for shooting a 15-year-old, as one Ohio Man did this week.
From Brian Koster and Emily Van de Riet wistv.com:
EAST CLEVELAND, Ohio (WOIO/Gray News) – An off-duty special deputy in Ohio shot a teenager after the portable toilet the deputy was in was tipped over, according to officials.
A press secretary for Cuyahoga County said the off-duty deputy was working a secondary security job in East Cleveland when he needed to use the portable toilet.
While inside, someone tipped over the toilet.
When the deputy got out, he reportedly encountered multiple people, one of whom he reported was pulling a gun from his waistband.
This is the benefit of being an “off-duty special deputy,” you can just claim that you saw a random person “pulling a gun from his waistband” before discharging your weapon aimlessly into a crowd and clipping a 15-year-old.
I won’t hold my breath for any consequences in that regard.
This week in The Rooster…
It was a brisk week of business at Rooster Worldwide LLC, with five published dispatches thanks to Tuesday’s emergency broadcast:
Observations, lessons and incidents from biking 50 percent of Columbus. You can learn a lot about your city by riding a bicycle.
Commissioner John O’Grady cops to a free trip to Japan. O’Grady claimed not to know who paid for the voyage and lodging for himself, Commission President Erica Crawley and Franklin County Administrator Kenneth Wilson. This emergency dispatch is free for all, courtesy of the brave and noble soldiers in the Patriots Caucus.
The Rooster’s September Mailbag. Answering this month’s burning questions from the readership.
Cuyahoga County’s process is the problem. Cleveland-based freelance correspondent Ol’ Brook Lynn returns to explain how the Cuyahoga County Democratic Party owns the endorsement of Councilman Joe Jones as a whole. This dispatch is free for all as a matter of public service.
It’s all about influence. Why do Franklin County public officials seemingly spend so much time in foreign countries?
We’ll do it at the same time and place next week.
Until then… stay frosty, my friends!
