If that is indeed his bedrock belief, Ramaswamy is set to attend a fundraiser on June 28 in New Albany that’s co-hosted by a stone-cold murderer in Dr. Milroy Samuel, a former abortion provider whose name can be seen in the second-to-top billing of the flyer:
Dr. Samuel and his father’s abortion practice were often targets of the Religious Right in Ohio.
Though the Samules’ abortion clinic closed due to then-Governor John Kasich’s war on clinics through heavy-handed government regulation, Dr. Samuel’s profile can still be found on AbortionDocs.com, listing his name, picture, phone number and address:
The anti-abortion movement has threatened and targeted abortion providers like Dr. Samuel in the past, most infamously in the assassination of Dr. George Tiller, an abortion provider in Kansas.
Though abortion remains legal in Ohio thanks to a constitutional amendment enshrined in State Constitution by a 14-point victory margin, the news of Ramaswamy hosting a fundraiser with Dr. Samuel won’t sit well with the grassroots Christians in Ohio with whom Ramaswamy, a practicing Hindu monotheist, is struggling to make inroads ahead of the 2026 General Election.
