Out here in rural Ohio, the price of pulling in to the wrong driveway can be steep, too. Some poor lost dude pulled in to a driveway in Clark County to check his GPS and got shot by the man living in the house there. He hadn’t even exited his car! Seems like that’s been happening a lot. These old guys, who maybe need to be in care or rehab, sitting around with shotguns waiting for the first wave of the apocalypse can be dangerous!
Hah! I remember when I first learned that "awry" is pronounced "a-rye". I had been saying "aw-ree" for... fifteen years? Maybe less? I learned at a D&D or an L5R session, it was one of those moments like, "Why do you keep looking at me like that?" 😆

Wait, so you've been saying something like "tree-ah-zhay" all this time?

I learned the word "triage" from watching re-runs of M*A*S*H as a kid. It was my mom's favorite show.
Best part of The Rooster?
The coda AND THOSE WMDS with all of the links to stories I missed online. It's like having desert after the complete meal.
I appreciate that my friend! That’s exactly what they’re for.
