You might want to reach out to Jim Swift at The Bulwark about podcasts. He's also a reformed Ohioan (by which I mean he left and stayed gone). I also know he at least occasionally reads the rooster, as he was who turned me on to it
I followed you here after enjoying your stories on 11W. I would love to see some special dispatches on sports as a break from politics when things may be slow.
Happy Monday! Good questions. Keep body-slamming (asking reasonable questions, making reasonable statements) the business-deal neo libs & cons equally. really appreciate your camera upgrades, etc. Heal up brother!!! ✌️
I'm interested in writing and have experience creating magazine articles for an east coast publication. Trade magazine. It was years ago, but I have examples and it was enjoyable. I like to write. Also interested in a tour. Thanks. Gatuomaala@gmail.com
Training a generation of sewer bloggers to be unafraid of the “norms of civility” that inconceivably evil politicians use to protect themselves from accountability is, in-and-of-itself, a righteous act. If you can spread your ethos of persistent, unafraid, humorous, pressing but not harassing form of journalism to towns and cities across Ohio, I truly believe we could have resurgent coverage of the petty corruption and petit authoritarianism of small towns again.
You have proven it is financially possible. Go forth and teach the up and comers how to be unafraid gremlins of justice.
There are too many podcasts and a lot of them are free. "Countdown with Keith Olbermann" on IHeart is the cream of the crop, and IHeart's API lets you pull EVERYTHING automatedly (and without $$$ or ads).
Did I read correctly that you are 58 years old? Anyway I enjoy your videos at the statehouse. How’d you earn a living before this enterprise was built?

The beacons are lit!
Where was Gondor when Neil Clark fell?
LMAO. I regret being a drunkard when Clark was prowling 1 Cap Square. Everyone agrees it would have been phenomenal content.

If I had it my way there'd be 20 of us at the Statehouse. Until then, we keep pushing.

Ha! If I said I am 58 somewhere, that would be one of my famous typos. I may look 58, but I'm actually 37.
This dispatch from March explains most of my origin story:
